Job Description:
| Project: Extract daily temperature readings from a national weather service database to an Excel spread-sheet. Remuneration: $500 The U.S. weather service database is available free of charge from CDIAC as a numeric data package (NDP), with file formats for FORTRAN and SAS. See http://cdiac.ornl.gov/epubs/ndp/ushcn/ndp070.html for full description of the file. Extract daily temperature readings (high and low) for 100 stations (out of 1,061) for 80 years (1926 - 2005) into a numerical Excel database of 200 columns and 29,220 rows.
